Mr Steven Young has been practising as a Consultant Neurosurgeon in Ireland for the past 18 years, based at the National Neurosurgical Unit, Beaumont Hospital, The Mater Private Hospital Dublin and The Bon Secours Hospital Galway. He brings to the Hermitage Clinic over twenty years of experience as an operating surgeon -and teacher/trainer - in the management of spinal conditions using minimally invasive techniques.
He has introduced a number of new techniques in Ireland including posterior dynamic stabilisation using the Wallis implant,the B-Twin intervertebral expansion system for lumbar fusion and cervical disc replacement using the Mobi-C cervical prosthesis
His practice, Spine Ireland at the Hermitage Clinic, aims to provide the very best care for patients with spinal problems - not just embracing the latest technology, but providing support and readily digestible information to patients and their relatives from pre-admission through discharge and beyond.
